Delivery delayed by one month!

there is still a very real and not getting better anytime soon CDL truck driver shortage. It's likely deliveries for retail stores for Christmas season were a big priority for trucking businesses from middle of December until New Years. New cars sitting in staging lots? Not so much.

Maybe so, but my truck was shipped and delivered to the dealership the day after Ford lifted the hold.

The issues here I am seeing in PA, there are two ports for Ford, Twin Oaks, PA and New Castle, DE. They are about 15 miles apart….

The trucks coming into the PA port arrive and ship out to my dealer before ones sitting at the Delaware port.

So the Maverick and Bronco lines seem to arrive in Delaware and just wait. While the F Series and Expeditions ship to Pennsylvania and get turned around quicker and to the dealer.

I hate to read this stuff. I entered the delivery window today, 1/15, and I just have a generally bad feeling there is something wrong. I wouldn't mind so much if my current vehicle weren't up for registration renewal.

I hear ya! My California registration is due March 22.....$329.....build date is Mar 7th ...I and will most likely be moved up to Apri/May.

Mine did come through on Feb 1, so it all worked out. The dealer even matched my Carvana/Carmax/Whatever offer so it was painless. I bought some lottery tickets but I guess I used up my luck on the car deal.
