It was the only visual modification I have done that looked like a do it yourself-er had tried, failed, and said “good enough”.
What was frustrating was that I waited almost a month for the decals to be made and sent to me with no communication from the seller.
I blacked out the areas shown due to sun glare off the passenger side surface on a couple of occasions.
I looked good from a distance but was one of those things that if you saw it in a parking lot, and noticed the small flaw in installation, you would immediately know the dude did it himself and screwed up.
One side was perfect but the other had two tiny
wrinkles on one side that I couldn’t get rid of so I just called it a loss.
I had pics up for a couple minutes.

No.
Those blacken the wrong side of the hood sculpting. If they would make those for the outboard side, where the light reflects into the cabin, I would have bought those instead.
Mine looked like those except that it filled the whole divot.
I bought some vinylimmaginations hood darts.
They were longer, coming to a point out near the hood edge.
I actually cut off the long pointy part since the angles were hard to work with anyway.
Applying decals to flat, or slightly curved, surfaces is pretty easy.
The hood area I was working with is the worst sheet metal on the entire truck to work with. If I would have shortened the long thin sections before I attempted the first side I probably would have gotten both sides done properly.
I attempted to install the whole thing on one side before realizing that I was never going to get everything lined up the same on both sides, let alone ONE side.
Most YT videos showing how to apply decals using the tape/hinge method don’t work with this hood area because you can’t precisely line up the edge of the decal with the section of hood where you want it to go. If the sheet metal is flat it’s easy, this part of the hood has deep concave angles.
They actually looked pretty cool. But the tiny wrinkles ruined it, especially since they were very noticeable from the inside as well as the outside.
As far a the company is concerned, they didn’t even bother to send a plastic squeegee with the decals. I used one from another vendor who I’ve purchased from in the past.
Pretty cheap if you ask me.
