De-badging / removing hybrid or AWD badge from the tailgate?

For future searches - I found that my AWD badges were very easy to remove. I planned to use heat and floss but didn't even need to. Just a little twisting-wiggle back and forth of each badge and it came off, a little bit of tape glue left behind which came off by rolling it on my finger. Cleaned up with IPA and it's like it was never there. Note that if you use something like IPA it will remove any wax that was on it, so you will want to apply something afterwards.

I didn't know beer removed adhesive tape. Neat-o.

Dental floss and use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner, designed for car finishes and it works great, on other projects too. Then if you want to mount something on your Mav, use 3M/Scotch VHB tape (Very High Bond). you can find it at Home Depot or Lowes, great tape for exterior use, designed for vehicles and OEM.
