I think someone else asked the question. I placed mine around the sides to snug up the fit. Slid in with just the right amount of resistance. This and the radio surround really spiffied up the dashboard.
That's a good idea where you placed the bumpers. I know some folks were complaining the stiffer Muslogy tray rattled. I also installed the radio trim and it made a big difference in the overall look. Just seemed to complete that part of the dash.

How do you get Road noise from rubber? Mine doesn’t budge an inch once it’s up there.
There are other brands that use a hard plastic rather than the Mabett. I'm guessing it's a brand other than the Mabett he's referencing.

There are several brands of those tray inserts.

Mabett's version is flexible compared to some that not.
I like it, no rattle if item will not bounce against other things.
Which is this?

You can’t fold it in half but it’s basically kind of soft
Mabett for the win.👍
Definitely flexible, quiet, soft to the touch.
No Need For Liners.

Always looking to somehow use the tray to mount my radar detector instead of the suction cup on the windshield.
Just lay on top? That might work. I hate the suction mount.

The size makes it not quite there it is so close. If I can get my son to 3d print a tray that would clip on the mav tray that would work.

Hey, all.
Got tired of having my sunglasses rattle around in the dash tray (I have a sunroof, so no sunglass holder) and came across this little solution on Amazon. One day delivery and it fit like a glove. I was a bit apprehensive on how it would look, but I think it looks just fine . . . even perhaps OEM. Came with those gel grippers and a couple of padded strips to keep it from sliding around. Not a major build, by any means, but often it's the little things that bring the most satisfaction.

I don't leave anything visible in my neighbourhood. Too many damned low lifes that would bust my window open thinking my two dollar sunglasses were Ray Ban or something. Lol. But it's definitely an inexpensive nice touch for sure.

Sorry to hear about your neighborhood. One's environment is everything! Thanks for the response.

Thank you for that link! I replaced my hard plastic dash tray with the flexible Mabett tray. The rattles are gone. 🙂

The Mabett soft structured tray is nice. I thank the members on this forum for their help with the choice. I initially had Brand X in my cart.

Ya, I didn't realize the Mabett was structured differently than the Muslogy version and I like it better due to it's softer (less chance of rattling) and there's no need for the soft inserts. While the Muslogy I installed doesn't rattle, I prefer the Mabett. I didn't see the Mabett appear on Amazon when I did the search, so I purchased the Muslogy.

I saw you said, you had a dash mat in your cart did you end up buying it?
