Dash cluster screen changed…

Hello, first post here. I need everyone’s help figuring out if I’m crazy or not and a possible fix… so I jumped the gun using forscan for the first time. Didn’t save original. Anyway I swear when I would put the key in the ignition and let the splash screen happen, it would show my truck blue blue with no sunroof. After I started messing around with things the next day, I noticed it was silver with a sunroof and lariat headlights keep in mind I have an XLT… has anyone else noticed this and does anybody know how to change that splash screen?

I can't really answer your question, but I can tell you that not all is lost if you want to go back to your original settings. You can find your as-built values by plugging in your VIN here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/ . It will spit out every value so you can go back to square one.

Hmmm, maybe I was tripping and it was never the same as my truck… have you done modifications using forscan? If so I wonder if someone that hasn’t had the same start up as us or if it’s way to tell if you have made modifications or something…

My gray Tremor with a Sunroof shows up as a "gray" Maverick with a Sunroof.....

Guess I just got lucky with my color choice

Changing the screen is just one mod that you can make with Forscan. You can also add Traffic Sign Recognition, disable Double Honk when exiting, disable Seat Belt chime , add drive modes, etc. You are obviously not a car guy. Car guys tinker and tinkering goes hand in hand with innovation. If everyone had your attitude this world would be a pretty boring place.

Nice, and congratulations. It took me about 3 weeks after getting it to start with forscan and I couldn’t be happier. Added Eco and Sport because I have a Fx4, and Traffic Sign Recognition. They finally found a fix for the seatbelt pop up and chime too that I’m about to do!

The splash screen is the infotainment screen
Mine says ST because when my truck grows up it’ll be an ST
