cut off date for 2022

i ordered hybrid xlt only one opt. trailer hitch, oct 21/21 , also received the email from ford the same day taht it was ordered. was still told by the dealer, Mullinax as of last week it was still a go, as far as they knew? so today I called the ford # 1-800-334-4375 they look up all my info, he said no its not scheduled yet and ask if the dealer told me the cut off date?? I said no, he said it will be in a week or so, that all 2022 will not be built?? so I called Mullinax ,talked to the manager, he said they have not heard that??!! , he did say that if any 2022 they ordered dont get built ,they "suppose" will reorder for a 2023 as soon as they can so we would be the first to get one ?? I really dont believe anyone anymore.. well see, not to happy , the commutation stinks , you never get a Stright answer... ordered from Mullinax vero beach fl.

Unscheduled does not mean will not be produced, providing your order was approved.

Sems Ford is attempting, with hybrids, to prioritize early orders (constraints and allocations still apply to choking up production). Since your order was a later one, in theory your production notice is still distant so you might be bumped to a '23. But because you have such bare bones options, maybe you'll luck out; impossible to predict. Still 6, possibly 7+ months of production before they switch the line to 2023s, AFAIK.

Production date for 23s is currently late October (the 24th, if memory serves).

I don't really believe any of them anymore!!the "ford" guy said that cut off date will be for anymore emails on orders, but he said they had way too many orders placed, so I ask then why did ford take the order?? he said they have way too maney orders over what they can build in the 2022 year.and why did I get a email of it being ordered? of course he had no answer

Mullinax did say they will reorder all they sold that are not built for 2022 as soon as they are told they can order and it will be a 2023, the "ford" guy said , more or less your out of luck, if it dont get build as a 2022, I ask him wont it be turned into a 2023 and we will be at the first of the list, he said NO! but Mullinax said they will reorder all that don't get built so we will be on the first of the list, I don't think anyone has a clue!! I'm 67 and it seems customer service is a ZERO now days. sad.

funny I called the main headquarters in Apopka ( Mullinax dealers) sat. they had no answers either? but said they would get back to me next week, they said they have not been told of the cut off coming soon, and that if you dont get a emiail from ford by then ,you wont geta 2022. funny no one has a answer I'm 67 and semi retired now, but I wish I could have run a business that way , I know there is some real supply issues, so all we can do is wait. our vero dealer only has 2 new f-150-2 bronco sports and maybe one or 2 of all the other fords. crazy to see empty lots of new ones. is all dealers in our town. only toyota has a somewhat good stock ( but not like in the past) but the 6 tundras they have are $19995 over msrp, as are most all the new toyotas they have

I will hope he is correct and the guy last week is wrong!! the people at Mullinax said they have not been told of a cut of either? He took all my info and said my order is still a go ,and in the system just waiting on a vin# and production. so we shall see, as long as it is still ordered I can live with that , my wifes 2016 kia soul is fine ,its going to be her truck,she uses the soul like a truck stuff piled all over the back area and seats, so cant wait till the Maverick shows up. as long as she dont start filling up , my 2019 F-150 STX, with stuff..

Update after calling ford and manly complaining on NO commination from them or the dealer, and they did say I do have an order in, just no build date yet ordered 10/21 . (funny) I got 2 emails and a call form the salesmen and a email from the sales manager saying it is ordered and thanks for being a customer. all I want is for them to let me know what's going on.

I called the ford customer service # ,again,Friday 4/29 , ask to check on the order, he said all is still a go, but still no date etc.he said I still should get it and it would be a 2022, I don't think anyone knows!!?? just as long as it is still on order, hybrid xlt-one opt. $100 trailer hitch.well see, I did complain to him,on pretty much ZERO communication from Ford or the dealer at all.
