We had a 2010 Yaris in Italy that was pretty fantastic. Every year we had to take it through a strict inspection program to re-license it. Every time the mechanic offered to buy it from me stating the newer ones weren't built as well. I don't have a lot of experience with Toyota outside of that car but that comment always struck me. The lady we sold it to just drove it to Bosnia and back, so it's still having a grand ol' time in Europe.
