It's been six month with my Lariat EB 2.0 AWD and noticed similarity to my previous '98 F150 STX, 4.2L V6, at least as far as fuel goes.

In both cases, a full tank of super unleaded lasts, or lasted about 3 - 4 week, or for about 270 - 280 miles. Obviously, filling up shows the difference, 15 vs. 25 gallons of fuel, in favor of the Maverick. That's about 45 bucks difference per tank nowadays that isn't bad at all. I just found ironic, that no matter the size of the vehicle, engine size, the fill up period pretty much the same and even the traveled miles are the same for the full tank of gas. I guess my driving habits/frequency didn't change much at all...

Performance vise, the two trucks are pretty much the same, maybe the Maverick a bit faster. The F150 made up for that with the sound of the engine roaring, 8' bed, no telemetry and better speakers. Not to mention that the F150 was a tank, when compared to the Maverick's flimsy bodywork and paint job. As big as the full-size F150 was, the Maverick feels more comfortable, maybe not the seats, but in general. To paraphrase my wife, "the Maverick feels like it is giving you a warm hug, when you sit in it". While the heated driver seat and steering wheel certainly influenced her view in the winter, it is still a ringing endorsement. While I am still not convinced to keep the Maverick for longer time period, it'll be hard to choose something different with that kind of endorsement... ;)

Same here going from a 93 v8 grand Cherokee. Time frame is the same, performance is just a lil peppier and the fill-up went from clicking off at 100 to actually filling at 60.

Mileage on my 2004 CNG f150 7700 was 11-13. Best ever was 17 on highway. Funny it went 300 miles highway too, Held about 18 gallons natural gas @$1.50 per GGE. (Gallon) So a fill up was $28! Since 2016 same price. All the sudden on 12/2021, it magically went to $5.28 per gallon,🧐 now $85 fill up. I started looking and found a maverick. Ordered 9/22 Mav so far is 27 mpg. average. Yes I miss the roar of the 5.4l V8, but really love the maverick. Check out the 7 bolt wheels on the f150?
