thirty years ago, practicing law, in noticed the correlation between a funny feeling in my gut and cases that went haywire.I still have a gut feeling that says watch out for THAT vehicle.
I started declining cases for no other reason than that gut feeling, and my life got so much better!
The very first thing my father told me as I sat behind his wheel the first time was to assume that the other drivers were out to get me--because half of them actually were.Exactly - I'm convinced bike riders who survive have a bit of psychic ability to know what another driver is going to do before they do it. Expecting drivers to do stupid things also helps.![]()
A few years of experience led me to conclude that my father was an optimist . . .
