Doing some research on 2021 Escape for ideas on potential Maverick pricing of options and discovered a Cold Weather Package for $645. Living in Minnesota I would be all over this option group! Includes: remote start, dual heated mirrors, heated front seats, HEATED STEERING WHEEL!, wrapped steering wheel, rear air duct, automatic climate control. Please Ford, make this package available on the Maverick!

I wish everything could be optioned separately like the old days. I would LOVE heated mirrors again like my current car but have a great disdain for higher tech stuff like automatic climate control and heated wheel.

I've always thought those types of options should be offered as a Cold Weather package instead of being automatically included in the higher end trims like most vehicles. If I lived in the south I would be so mad at being forced to pay extra for the heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, remote start, block heater, etc. when there's little to no chance they would ever get used.

The Maverick will certainly have those options included somewhere. I'm hard-pressed to think of any vehicle that doesn't offer at least most of those options at some point in the trim lines. But I'd imagine it'll be like everything else and you'll have to move up in the trims to get them.
I live in the South (SC) and WANT the heated seats, heated mirrors etc. The “South” is not like Florida. We do get ocasional snow, ice and cold temperatures

we had days this past winter where it was colder than southern New England (where I’m from originally)

Every US state sees snow, ice, and "cold" every once in awhile. But I guess, personally, I just wouldn't want to pay the extra thousand(s) of dollars to deal with the "occasional snow, ice, and cold temperatures". I know it's all relative, but when it was -50F a month ago here in Northern Minnesota, a usual winter occurrence here, it makes pretty much every where else seem like nothing.
I live outside of Las Vegas and probably wouldn't pay $100 for a cold weather package. I need a Warm Weather package that remote starts, cracks my windows, and starts the AC on full blast. Maybe an exhaust fan. :)

They better not do it like they did with the bronco where the heated seats and heated wheel were separate packages, up here in Canada both are a strong need, heated wheel should not be part of a lux package! I would gladly pay more for front windshield defrosters, that's a winter want and a lux 😌
