The 300A plan is only on Ecoboost engines. It's the 100A package on a Hybrid. I am looking at an XL Hybrid and would add the $540 Co-Pilot 360 option. If I do that, what will it do? Also, some say that option also adds power mirrors, (which an XL does not come standard with). Is that true?
I did not look at Ecoboost. Hybrid XLT LUX=300A. For lariat PKG is 500A (hybrid or electric). HL standard package =100A. Any additional options are/may be available for each XL,XLT,LARIAT individually. When building XL click on Co-Pilot 360 and it will show you what it will do for XL.

The terminology can be a little confusing
  • "Ford Co-Pilot360" is Ford's generic brand name for a basket of safety/tech features
  • All Mavericks include some Co-Pilot360 features from Ford's basket of technologies
  • The Co-Pilot360 package includes a specific set of extra features (BLIS, cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist, etc.) that are not included by default
  • The Lariat Luxury package requires the Co-Pilot360 package as a prerequisite, meaning you are required to add the Co-Pilot360 package if you want to order the Lariat Luxury package
  • The Lariat Luxury package also includes additional features from Ford's Co-Pilot360 basket, including adaptive cruise control and lane centering
  • In other Ford vehicles, the set of standard and packaged Co-Pilot360 features is different, so what you see in the Co-Pilot360 package, what comes standard, and what is bundled in other packages varies across product line

Yes, the CoPilot option adds power mirrors to the XL. It also is required to option the rear sliding window on an XL trim only. On all trims it adds:

BLIS with Cross-traffic - replaces the blind spot mirror in the side mirrors with an LED that lights up when there's a vehicle in the blind spot and also displays a message on the dash if there's a vehicle there when you activate the turn signals. Also displays a warning if you're backing up and it detects a vehicle approaching the rear corners.

Lane-keeping system - Will display warning messages and optionally steer back into the lane if it detects you drifting out. If the system determines you are driving erratically it can also display warnings about driver alertness.

On a Hybrid it also gives the full-size spare tire option included for free.

The Lane-keeping only roughly keeps you in lane. The Lariat w/ Luxury Package has full lane centering capability.
Considering what it could prevent, $540 seems like a no-brainer for those kinds of features.
