FWIW, my Hybrid Lariat definitely detects people walking toward / behind the truck. Parked next to a "big" (lifted) truck, and some guy came up behind it, walking in a "bent over" position to look at the undercarriage. Totally hidden from my view by the truck, but the sensors were going off like crazy... Then he straightened up, and I realized the sensors probably saved me from at least a lawsuit...

I've done about 14K miles between 2 Mavericks with CP360 & backup sensors, and I do think the cross traffic aspect of the detectors is not as good as other vehicles I've owned. The sensors are clean and unobstructed; my entire truck is clean almost all the time. (y)

Backing out of a parking stall it doesn't warn of moving objects very far to the sides. Straight behind, yes. But actual cross traffic is not that great in my experience.

Mine stopped working at all after last recall. Doesnt detect vehicles at all. Going to try and unhook battery for a bit. I really don’t want ford touching my truck. Was a good truck before their intervention.
