I thought that, but I put my face really close and couldn’t see anything. I would definitely see those little buggers move! They are gone today. Freaking weird!

They can also be killed easily with a mixture of white vinegar and water in spray bottle. Lots cheaper and more environmentally friendly.

I am not familiar w those particular large mites but yes insects are very attracted to certain colors. I had an entomology professor who was also a professional insect scout for commercial fields like produce. They drive white trucks and wear white into the fields to find if there are thrip infestations. If you have gardenias in your landscape, thrips (little black specs) are always in the blooms. Here in FL most mites are attracted to blue, we have tiny red mites. I use white, blue & yellow sticky traps in my orchid collection to attract & kill insects. I'm going to have to check if our Velocity Blue Mav attracts anything, it stays on the driveway near my big orchid pergola!

Talstar is expensive and overkill, also you can not use it where the run off may find waterways. Soapy water mix will usually be fine. I'm a plant scientist & horticulturalist.

I may have to report that to Ford corporate. Rock chips in the paint and now warts! What kind of truck is this?

Vehicular crabs, your mav probably got violated by a stray Mav in the neighborhood........

It may have stopped off in Tijuana on its way out of Mexico.

Here is some FL bug problems on cars lovebugs spring & fall along the T-Pike. This was 1/2 down to Homestead we had to pull into the Windshield Wash Station my friends and I usually rent a suv when we do these plant & orchid sales.
