I'd love to get the basic with defrost, but with an XL I'd need to figure out how to get power and how to turn on.
I'd recommend getting a set with the defroster feature that's only $10 difference. If you decide not to wire the defroster feature, you can simply leave off the defroster feature on your Suma mirrors without affecting anything.

sounds great, thanks!
Do you guys have anything that fits a 2016 scion ia? It's a rebadged Mazda and it's my daily driver. I would definitely buy some right now if you have anything that fits

We might. Please DM us a picture of your side mirror to confirm, thanks!

I'm confused.

So this is basically putting on the driver's side what is already on the passenger side.

So BOTH sides will have one of those convex "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" type mirror.

I'm confused.

For about 50 years, (maybe longer?) cars have come equipped with one normal mirror on driver's side and one "convex" mirror on the passenger side.

There must be a reason, rule, or law for doing this. As the "cost" is basically nothing that's not it.

There must be a downside to making this change. What is the downside?

Like probably you will hit things backing up kind of problem?

I’m can’t watch the videos and not having a picture of you’re actual product on the site, I have questions.

These are essentially a fully convex mirror? Convex both vertically and horizontally? On other aspheric mirrors I’ve purchased, the outside edge has a section that is more sharply curved than the center, are these similar or just curved evenly across the entire mirror.

These are not just a tiny curved section on a flat mirror, correct?

Great questions. Suma mirrors are not aspheric mirrors. Instead, they are full convex mirrors, both vertically and horizontally. These mirrors are manufactured from optical glasses, used for eyeglasses, that we import from Japan to give you crystal, clear images on your Suma mirror.

And the blue feature (optional) is for anti-glare, preventing you from getting blinded by the high beams behind you.

It was the US regulation, not sure why. In Europe, they have aspheric side mirrors due to different regulations. The benefits are increased field of view and anti-glare for the blue mirror feature. The downside is that once you've installed Suma mirrors on your Maverick, you would wish all your cars have Suma mirrors (y). But the blue mirrors are a bit darker to see, especially if you have tinted windows.
