This is what my 2023 Hybrid XL, (33904 miles) experienced today. Was able to limp home mostly on battery. CEL with misfire warning. Strong sulfur smell from exhaust. Rough idle. Ford is having it towed to dealer this afternoon. Must confess this has me a bit worried.

I noticed the problem in late march. Subtle squeak with he vehicle switches from battery to ICE and again when the ICE switches to battery. My dealership said this function is normal, I am no so sure.

11 months ago we took our two month old hybrid xl on a 2700 mile trip from Seattle to Boulder, Utah. Problem free all the way. If I ever get around to it I plan to write up trip report
