Sorry about the delay, nope. No CELs no issues what so ever. Put a couple thousand on it too. All good from my end

No not yet, honestly I haven’t decided on who I want to tune it. It’s a much harder decision than I previously thought. Kinda leaning 5star. I was thinking livernois earlier but looks like their tune is a sorta generic canned tune, if that makes sense.

Makes sense, kinda like the Cobb tune I already have.
Good luck, let us know who you go with.
But even without a tune does the butt dyno feel a difference ?

On the bottom end no change really I feel, on the top you can feel it pull harder through the gears. Maybe like adding 10-20hp, just a guess. A tune will definitely wake it up I bet with a full 3in

no. Part just shipped.
My best advice is have a lift or have a shop put it in. If you have big hands it’s gonna be a pain too

thanks. Have access to a lift but might hold off.
Next duty station is heavily regulated emissions.

Just ordered mine. $20 discount on the site.
Livernois can tune you for what you have modded so far.
I gotta wait for the warm weather though to install.

Just thought about this, did you use the O2 sensor extension that came with it?

Does this have an adapter to bolt to the factory exhaust system, or is it set up for a 3-in exhaust system? I already have a Thermal 3-in, but wanted to make sure there wasn't some sort of adapter. I doubt I'll mess with the downpipe to be honest because of the noise and the minimal gains when you consider things that interfere with your drivability etc. When I say drivability, I mean things NVH, droning, etc. It is worth thinking about for the price though. Plus the lack of converter means the PTU that sits under it will last longer.

No it’s bolted to the factory just fine, no need for an adapter or anything. If you wanted to make a full 3ā€ probably $100 at a muffler shop would get it done coming off the flange. I’m thinking about adding a Thermal RD, at least that’s the brand/sound I’m leaning, to mine but I know I’ll probably need to put a nice resonator on there cause I don’t want lots of drone or noise. I just want the performance and flow. I didn’t think about that with the PTU but I bet you are right. Lot more space in there now to get that heat out too.

I ca. say I’ve done a ton of ecoboost builds. Livernois is about as good as it gets. Even the canned tune is far better than most tunes via access port. I can explain farther in detail in a pm if you want why that is. Short of it is the software they use allows significantly more access to the ecu.
It was discussed a good bit with Randy Robles from Tuneworks.
he is the old head tuner for montune.
so if you go Cobb. That is the only person I would trust tuning mine. Guy is a great tuner and stand up guy. Honest as the day is long. Honest even if it gives his competitors a chance to take his business.

It’s in finally. Bolted up just fine, no exhaust leaks and no CELs. I’m gonna drive on it for a little bit before I can recommend fully but so far so good. I’ll try to get some pics and videos in a bit. I just want to enjoy the victory right now haha
Was just under the Mav today doing all the fluids and saw the top rear bolt, seen the front bolt from the top engine bay but that bottom bolt is hidden and what kind of wrench you guys are using??? Cut up my arm just trying to feel around in there.

bringing this back to life....

I've got the Fast Maverick Catted DP and mid pipe along with SW 3" cat back exhaust to be installed.

Decided to let my local mechanic get after this since he has a full shop of tools and lifts. So far he says he'll have to drop the front diff and axle...I'm guessing he means the drive shaft(i'm in germany and so there may be a bit of translation issue) but I don't know why he'd need to drop the diff though. more to come as this unfolds!

On other news, I've been running the Panda tune for a few months now and honestly i haven't been impressed. it feels softer(maybe smoother is better word) than the stock cobb tune. My mods so far are just a S&B intake. Mostly what the tune did for me was remove the speed limiter so that I can keep up with traffic on the autobahn now. And she will run.... I routinely hit 135-140 with no issues and more to go.

After the DP and exhaust, I plan to install the CVF intercooler, the velossa ram intakes and Panda fog lights at the same time since I have to pull the bumper any way.

is the livernois tune reall that much better?
