Chicago area dealer recommendation.

I'd like to place an order but the best offer I've had so far was offers of MSRP, while some here are claiming under "Invoice" for an order in other areas. I'd prefer using someone close to Chicago. If I have to wait a while I will but If I can order for Invoice I would.

I have not found. any Chicagoland Ford dealerships offering discounts off MSRP. Since I'm bored waiting for my Hybrid I've search a few dealership websites and found some stating they sell at MSRP and some that are adding ADM upcharge of $3~5K over MSRP.

I think its too early in the sales of Mavericks to expect dealerships to discount them as they can sell them within days if the original orderer backs out Have read nationally an unclaimed Maverick only sits on the dealership lots for 5 days before being sold, which is historically a very short time.

Are you interested in a Ecoboost- or Hybrid-powered version? New orders for 2022 Hybrids closed Nov 15th , so you can't order a Hybrid until late summer 2022 as a 2023MY version.

If your considering an Ecoboost, I think the closest dealership offering $3K discounts through 1/31 on new orders is Granger Ford in Iowa, which is a 300-ish mile trip each way. There's threads on this website about Granger's current offer.

Its just simple supply/demand. There's more potential buyers than inventory, with most incoming inventory being previously customer-ordered Mavericks.

Ecoboost XL. I'm only asking because people here are claiming they got discounts but no dealer nearby I've contacted will do it. I'm willing to wait until things settle down and I would prefer a 23 anyway just wanted to be open to ideas. I can't take time off work to pick one up across the country as I would lose a few days of pay and annoy my Boss.
