Not for my Mav, but my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Exact same Radiator, hoses, and belt and tensioner kit; 30.00 less at Rock Auto with shipping than at Amazon Prime and free shipping.

I do agree. Gotta look VERY close. But these were not knockoffs, but according to everything I researched, the very same.Avoid amazonia for car parts. Too many lookalike counterfeits on there.
Some of the generic stuff like panel clips, cabin air filters, washer fluid tablets can be good money savers, but I generally agree to avoid Amazon and eBay parts like the plague.Avoid amazonia for car parts. Too many lookalike counterfeits on there.
For me it partly depends on how soon I need it. Today? Auto parts store. Soon? Amazon. Just stocking up? Rock Auto. Not for my Mav, but my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Exact same Radiator, hoses, and belt and tensioner kit; 30.00 less at Rock Auto with shipping than at Amazon Prime and free shipping.

Just got to sift through the listings because the same item can have multiple listings. I use Rock Auto or a dealer's parts department website to find OEM part numbers, then cross-reference it with the specific part I'm looking for. A surprising amount of parts are shipped from and sold by Amazon directly.Avoid amazonia for car parts. Too many lookalike counterfeits on there.
You also have to look at how many pleats are. Less pleats = less filter surface area.I will say this WRT Rockauto Luberfiner filters. They contain about half the paper as OEM. You are literally getting half the filter at half the price.
Below is a factory (L)vs Luberfiner(R) cabin air filter.
I found the same with the engine air filters.

I didn't post it but the engine air filter is the same physical size but with half the pleats so half the paper as well. Wish I had done a side by side of the pleats when I changed it.You also have to look at how many pleats are. Less pleats = less filter surface area.
I'm leery of Amazonia for "OEM" car parts because I bought what was supposed to be a Motorcraft® FL-910-S filter. The packaging was a ziplock bag and the filter assembly and labeling were visibly poorly made, compared to a known Ford OEM filter on hand that I had purchased with Ford Points.
