Ceramic window tint installed -- before & after photos

Yesterday I finally got all of my windows (The front windshield, 4 windows, and back windshield) tinted with ceramic tint and I love it! I hated that anyone could easily see inside my truck/knowing how hot the truck would get during the Texas summer. Now I have the added privacy and the inside feels cooler. Added some before and after pics.

Depends on your state. In Texas it allows 70% visibility so it’s legal.

Looks nice. What level tint did you get for each part (rear, rear sides, front sides and windshield)?

I added 35% to all the sides and rear. It has made a world of difference even on the cooler days that are sunny.

In Virginia you need a medical waiver for front sides @ 35% and windshield, any tint level). I just got the waiver so I will be doing the windshield @80% this week.

Thank you! I agree the tint makes a difference even on cooler sunny days. I got 13 for the rear windows and back windshield(in Texas you can go limo dark if you want), 30 for the front two windows, 70 for the front windshield. 80% will definitely make a huge difference and will look cool too

The OEM glass is already 70% VLT. The VLT specs are printed in the lower corner of the windshield glass - driver's side.

Ohio allows tint which lets 70% transmission through on entire windshield and as low as 5% on the windshield "brow"

More for the ceramic for IR than the tinting but it does make the windshield ever so slightly tinted more.

Looks like a normal maverick to me. The before and after look the same.
I’m looking to tint the fronts to match the factory rears. A uniform color all around.

The pics I took were in the shadow so I can see why it’s harder to see the difference. There’s definitely a difference just a legal difference with the laws in my state! Unfortunately I couldn’t get the front to match the back with the Texas laws. I bet your truck will look really nice with the uniform tint please share pics if you can!

We had clear ceramic on my wifes front windshield many years ago and I didn't really think I noticed a difference but she says it does.
I still need to get at least the front two windows done on mine, one of the things I have noticed in my short time with the Maverick is it seems to get warm inside when the sun is out more so than I remember with my other car. I am still on the fence about the front windshield though since I went through 3 windshields in 10 years on the last one so not going to redo it that many times.

Do you have the moonroof? If so try closing the cover when parked. It is suprising how much heat that window brings into the cab.

I am in Texas too, and trying to tint. Did you do by yourself? Precut film? Any recommendation or link for film?
