The dealer called me today with an update on my check engine light. The PCM is bad. The part is back ordered with 50 coming on 3/6 and 20 coming 3/20, but he does not know the number of orders backed up. I miss my truck!

Thank you, I asked my advisor to ask the tech

Did you get other alerts besides the check engine light?

No. I had the rough idle and shimmy forever and it was especially bad the day the CEL triggered. The CEL went off after 24 hours and came back on in a week.

Ok , thanks, the weird thing with mine if the truck is running and I open the door that sets off all the alerts! Not sure why tech can’t figure it out

I did notice that for whatever reason the output voltage of the DC-DC converter changes depending on if a door is open or closed. It's not due to load from the interior lights, rather the commanded value appears to actually change from what I observed in the datastream. Something like 15.3v closed down to 14.9v open on mine. It was driving me crazy for a bit until I realized because the higher state was right at the threshold for subwoofer amps (after the older one I originally installed died) to shut down for overvolt protection.

So potentially in your case it could be low nominal voltage dipping too much lower when the door is opened? Although most modules would error code too low supply voltage, I'd imagine.
