Weird. I had no such issue changing out the bulbs in my late 2023 on the second day of ownership.

Just changed out my bulbs the other day with zevos and had no problems with screws, but read the post first so was very carefull. Thanks forum members

Did you notice any melting of the Chrome plastic?

I swapped mine yesterday and notice saw deformation. But none on the center red area. I'm not sure if the plating process isn't causing the deformation at manufacture. I swapped for the brighter light. I did notice the Zevo says "for off road use only" on the package.

No melting I just had the bulbs from my sold f-150 so I found a new home for them.
