Hi all,
Just joined today because I'm looking for something that may or may not exist, and Reddit pointed me here.

I currently have the FS Elevate Rack with my BAKFLIP tri-fold and love it. I took it off for the time being because I don't want to install it on/off each time I go to the car wash, and would like to see if anyone is aware of something like the THULE Cantilever extension (https://www.actiontrucks.com/product-detail/TRA24002XT/cantilever-extension) but for the ELEVATE rack compatibility?

In addition, is anyone aware of a ladder rack that could work with the ELEVATE rails (t-slots) instead of clamping onto the sides of the bed? I like my cover and would prefer to keep it, but am open to changing it to another style that would better work with a ladder rack.

Thank you! Looks to be an awesome forum from the content I'm reading!

Since you already have the Elevate rack, that mounts on the t-slot rails, why not just add a couple of lengths of 2x2x3/16 aluminum angle, with maybe a Thule Aerobar sourced off of FB Marketplace for the forward crossbar?

Just some drilling and t-bolts.

That is a fantastic idea! I was considering buying some extruded aluminum and just building a frame atop the Elevate Rack, but this would keep things slightly lower and still maintain the look I need.
Thank you!

There's a guy on Kijiji in the Toronto area selling Maverick roof racks for +/- $189, no taxes if you pay cash.

EDIT: Here : https://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-auto-...aluminum-crossbars-roof-rack-rails/1710551461

I'd try one or both roof bars along with one or both of the bed rack bars.

If you need a ladder rack you're probably in the trades and know how to use tools? For the T-slot rack, you could get a bed rail mount rack like they sell at Princess Auto and cut the L part of the bottom supports, drill some holes in the remaining flat part and use it with your existing rails.
Thanks! I remember seeing that ad but the guy never responded after a few attempts so I stopped trying.

Will try again.

As for tools, yes I can def fabricate something and was leaning toward the extruded aluminum option with brackets to mount to the Elevate rack, but the 2x2 or 3x3 L-bracket will be MUCH cheaper and easier to work with.

I need something that can pop on/off easily as I don't want to take it off each time I go to the wash (which isn't often) but needs to be removed (I think) before going to the wash.
