Cabin air filter @ 18k miles (photo)

This thread helped illustrate a void in both the printed and digital versions of the ‘22 Owners Manual.

The Instructions in both stop at the step of ‘depress the left and right side tabs to fully open the glove box’.

After that… nothing. No mention or pics of the process to open and remove the glove box, how to open the filter chamber or remove and correctly orient air flow of the new filter (arrow down, towards floor pan).

I’m sure I’ve overlooked the Ford Update with the attachment to print and paste the balance of the procedure into the Owner’s Manual. Or not…

All better. Dirty old out, new in. Easier next time, 18,000 miles from now.

Your post made me curious as to what the 2023 manual had to say. Not much is what.

Yep, same as the ‘22, even the Page #.

Somewhere there’s a Ford proofreader shaking their head…or not!

Looks like the factory interval is 20k on the cabin filter - I am @ 18k with definitely some past dirt road action. Simple swap bought from rock/auto -
