C6 Rev tent

I tried to search the forum but didn't see anything regarding the C6 Rev tent. I'm thinking about building a 4x7 folding plywood base using the 3 upper 2x4 bed side supports and then having leg supports on the tailgate with a half foot over hang. Anyone have a similar build?

I'm hoping to have everything packed down under a bed cover when traveling.

Why a truck tent? Scorpions.

Really like this tent! Lightweight and easy to carry. I have mine on Billie bars and using their rooftop rack.
