Build Date Way Off

Well I called Ford customer service this morning to ask if the email I received from Ford regarding a September 5 build date was correct. NOPE! It has been moved to October 3 now. NO email from Ford telling me of this change. My estimated delivery was October 11, now it will be sometime in November and it is still going to be a 2022MY because I do have VIN. Absolutely crazy!!!!!!! What's another month or two after waiting 14 months.

I think many of us have experienced this same wait and wait longer. I received my VIN on April 15th yet wasn't built until 8/24. My first date given for build week was 6/13 so yes it is a waiting game for sure. I am hoping to see my truck in my garage in the next 2 or 3 weeks if all goes well with the shipping. Good luck!

I wonder why Ford finds it's so tough to send the same email, concerning your truck, to you also?

I have a build date of Sept 26th. Dealer told me delivery end of October barring any hiccups. I laughed

In a chat session with Ford this afternoon, I got word that I was assigned a build week of 10/31/2022 and an expected delivery date around 11/27. Yes, I realize milege on those dates may vary, but it is the data I got today.

I got my first build date of June 27th on April 20th. Build date moved 3 times. Final build date was 9/2. Today, 9/6, modules went live. Now I hope I have all the chips and a train will be available to bring her to the states sooner than later.

It’s a waiting game. Don’t fret it too much.

Just to update my previous post, I got the email from Ford today to let me know that my scheduled week is now Sept 26, not the 10/31 the customer service rep quoted earlier this week.

Congrats on the build date. Rule of thumb seems to be add 2 months.
