Ordered Maverick XL 12-20-2021. Received confirmation from Ford. When should I expect an email regarding actual date ?

Ordered 6/28 got my build date e-mail from Ford on Oct 14 with a build date week of 12/6, got another e mail changing build to week of 12/13 and then another e-mail changing to week of 12/20. Truck finally built on 12/23.

I ordered in June and it finally got built on 1-4. Delivery estimate 2-5. So be patient. Good luck.

10/22 no build date. ( many in July still dont have a build date.)

Sigh, 7/23 no build date. Lariat Hybrid with 360/adaptive cruse control. It's really painful seeing hybrids ordered after you getting build dates. I understand constraints can cause some shifting around but damn I wish Ford would move to a consumer based first in first out vs the dealer allocation thing they do. I'm in the middle of nowhere who ordered through a small dealer.

Oh well I'm fairly patient and won't really start feeling put out till around April.

If your timeline is the norm, I should see a build email end of Feb, with a build end of April... Just like the dealer told me.. "dont expect delivery until May or June." ugh...

Will Ford fill orders on prepaid customer special orders first, or will they fill dealer allocation first? Do they do both at the same time? Is it a geographical allocation? How many outstanding orders do they have? How many are built daily? For Ford, demand is greater than supply. Ford, rock on!

I received notification of the build In the middle of the night Friday/Saturday. Then, notification that it shipped Tuesday.
