Build Date and VIN notification

Any of you have this happen? Dealer notified me Thursday June 30 that I have a build date and VIN, and sent me a screen shot of what they received. But, nothing from Ford yet. Is there typically a delay between dealer being notified and Ford notifying the customer, or are all notified by the dealer only?

I was told by my dealer that I had a build week and gave me a VIN at the end of April. I did not get my scheduled for production email until May 27. There was about a month of lag time between the dealer telling me and receiving the Ford email. The bad news was when I got the email, they had moved me back 2 weeks.

So I take if Ford's will come once I am moved out of "Order Confirmed" and into "In Production" on the Tracker. With an August 29 tentative date, that may be a while!!!!

My avatar is right off an email from Ford. I've seen a bunch of pictures of white ones and seen a few other colors in real life but I got to see my first white in real life the other day on the highway. Hybrid XLT and it was even doing truck stuff. I just think it looks really sharp in white with dark rims.
