I thought I had read that the newer build mavericks had one key with the buttons and one "dummy" key without. Mine came with both button equipped keys.

I believe what people are talking about is the remote start option key. I may be wrong though.

Ford added the "one depopulated key fob" option to the order guide as a precautionary measure, in case the chip shortage doesn't improve our gets worse, but as of right now they are not requiring that option on builds yet.
