I didn't swap out the tailgate either. It really is the same color.

Factories do as much as possible to save on paint, stuff is expensive. Likely sprayed very lightly on that portion. Good thing It's not really seen much

If yours arrives looking like the lower picture, simply drive it to a different lighting condition to make it look like the first picture! THAT color morphing is what I think is so cool about Cactus Gray!
