I absolutely love my xlt Maverick Ecoboost fx4. It's zippy, gets 28-30 on the highway and does pretty much all I need out of a truck. Comfy seats too!

Me being a bit of a speed demon would love more power however. I know we are starting to get new tunes ect (which I am interested in), but what about bolt ons and future Performance hardware. Are there any plans for bigger turbos ect?

I love this Truck and plan on keeping it and passing it down to my daughter when she gets her license (she's 12), but a performance oriented Maverick would def make me consider a trade in!

Please use the search feature. There are several here running 13 second or better quarters. Pretty much all with similar mods. Some might chime in with better direction, but I haven't applied any of those mods so I can't give great feedback based on experience of mods.

I ran a 13.9 in my 23 Eco AWD with just a Liveronis E30 tune. Everything else completely bone stock.

There are several members running mid to low 13s with just a tune, intake, and secondary cat delete. An intercooler will definitely help as well.

My 22 that I sold ran a best of 12.8 with those same mods plus a downpipe. John (Dueces) also ran multiple high 12s with the same mods.

He has now swapped turbos for a Corsair 2.3 turbo which is a direct swap but bigger wheel. So far he has run a 12.6 but when it’s dialed in I believe he will see low 12s.

The Corsair turbos are hard to find since the 2.3 Corsairs were low production. They will be even harder to find now that Lincoln has dropped the 2.3 option. When I ordered 2 new from the dealer there were only 5 left in the country.

I was going to keep the cat in the bag but I sent the 2 turbos off for upgrading. Let’s just say that this year there will be 2 Carbonized Grey Mavericks (one on the east and one on the west) shooting for 11 second time slips.

If you’re interested in performance join my Facebook group, Fast Mavericks. No secrets or mystery’s, the recipe is there for everyone. 😉

IMO the Maverick (Ecoboost) already is a performance vehicle (particularly if you're interested in modifications). A compact pickup capable of 0-60 in around 6 seconds from the factory.

As previously stated, folk are routinely running 1/4 miles in the 13s with just intake, exhaust, and a tune. A number of people have broken into the 12s, going a bit further.
