Is anyone else experiencing their Bluetooth disconnecting and then trying to re-connect on it's own (sometimes successful sometimes not)? I saw a thread a long time ago about this, reset the infotainment system, reset network settings on my phone, etc. but still experiencing the issue. Trying my best to avoid using a chord for car-play.

Iphone? I have the same problem. Occurs randomly, it will try to reconnect and is successful most of the time. There have been times when it could not successfully reconnect. I had to shut the vehicle off and leave it off for a while ( basically, I went to work for the day) and the next time it connected no problem.

Would love a solution. Most of the time it works fine but it's very annoying particularly when navigating.

I have an Android and it does the same thing. Sometimes works with no problems at all for several days and then starts and goes on for a week or two dropping out won't connect finally have to forget it and just turn thep FM radio on. 🤥 I have had it to the dealer and supposedly did the upgrade for it but it made no difference just like when they did the upgrade or hybrid brakes grabbing . When you buy a vehicle you expect it to be 100 % Not 85 % . I'm getting really tired of both of these problems grabbing brakes radio always dropping out or won't connect not good not good at all. !!!!!!! ☹👎

My iPhone 14 drops every day at least once. Sometimes more than once within a 25 mile drive. I have reset everything, even had the dealer check for updates to no avail.

Same here, it seems like it's worse after plugging in to use CarPlay (which can take a minute or so to sync up). After that, Bluetooth gets disconnected and I have to manually reconnect. The latest infotainment update does not seem to have helped. This is probably the worst annoyance I have with this vehicle.

I have the same issue with my iPhone. My Bluetooth disconnects about 80%-90% of the times I go somewhere. Of these, probably 90% of the times it disconnects it will reconnect, and the other 10% it switches to the radio. Since most of my driving is to/from work, the store, etc. I don't want to (and shouldn't have to) have to use a cord. Bluetooth is not new technology and I've never had another vehicle do this before. This is extremely annoying and is definitely something that would make me think twice before buying another Ford.

Hey there. I can look into your Maverick’s Bluetooth concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

iPhone user. When mine stops connecting, I plug it into the cable. Sometimes, however, it connects carplay but the sound still comes out the the phone. When this happens, I disconnect it from car play, Toggle the Bluetooth off and on on my phone and then reconnect it to Bluetooth. I've never, not been able to connect it back, but it takes too much work for something that is supposed to connect no problem.
