Has anyone found a Bluetooth transmitter that will connect to the maverick and allow you to connect a discman or DAP to a 1/8th jack and transmit the audio to the trucks audio?

I bought this one and it wasn’t compatible with the maverick.

Are you looking to play cds?? If so you would be better off getting a usb cd player than trying a transmitter.

No. I’m looking to connect my DAP to the maverick. It works horribly slow when connecting to the usb ports. Same with thumb drives and only a quarter of the tunes show up after a good 15-20 minutes of indexing. Damn the auto engineers for doing away with the 1/8th/3.5mm aux jack.

sounds like a basic external ssd would be a better option. That’s what I set up for my dad to have all his music on in his f150 and it’s been pretty quick with indexing each time he adds to it

Tried that and it was an absolute dog. 15-20 minutes to index every time I start the truck even if I’ve left the SSD in. Incredibly long times to search for a artist or album. Not all albums make it to the index. I’ve done a couple updates to the infotainment system so maybe I should try it again.
