I have a ham radio that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. I'm looking for a Bluetooth transmitter that will pair with my 2024 Maverick hybrid, so I can have the output of the radio play through the Maverick's speakers. I have a transmitter that I've used with Bluetooth speakers in the past. The Maverick recognizes the transmitter, but when I try to pair it says something about not having SYNC and then disconnects. So, I'm looking for someone that can point me to a transmitter they know for sure will pair with the Maverick.

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks. I see it is for an Apple phone (and this particular one is "not available"). But the suggestion begs a follow-up question.

I see that it is for Car Play. I have Android Auto. But my question is, what are you sending this to unit? Are you sending music from your phone?

Thanks again,
Andrew

Yep. I've been looking at ones similar. On the one you posted, for transmission it doesn't show a vehicle as being something that can receive the Bluetooth signal. Most of these devices are this way. Some will even explicitly say that they will not work with vehicles.

I've queried Grok to see if any expressly claim they will transmit and pair with the SYNC3 on the Maverick. It returned a couple (links below) where reviews say it works even if the device specs don't expressly say it. I've ordered the 1Mii. I'll post back whether it works or not. Fortunately, with Amazon's generous return policy it's not a gamble.

1Mii $25
AirFly Pro $55

UPDATE: The 1Mii did not work.
