I installed a rough country tri-fold hardcover mainly because it was the least expensive one with the cable actuated slam latches and when I haul something big I prefer to remove the cover so I can see my cargo out the back window.

I installed the full bedrug kit. pretty much just drops in place like a standard drop-in hardliner with the exception that you put velcro anywhere you feel you need it.

It is super nice having something soft to crawl around on and especially nice when I sit on the tailgate when I'm at the lake or Park. The standard bedrug is definitely not as nice as the bed rug impact liner but that one doesn't come with the side pieces.

I used a razor blade to cut out openings for my side cubbies and then installed the edges of the cubbies over the liner. I felt like this kind of helps hold the liner in place and makes it a little harder to steal LOL. I used M6 flanged button head bolts for the cubbies and M8 flanged button head bolts for the tie downs. I will probably install some more tie downs in the factory locations or just reinstall the Ford tie downs.

Other than the driver side front corner everything is pretty watertight. I probably should just suck it up and put a little silicone in the corner but so far it's nothing the bedrug can't soak up and dry out.

I bought the bolts and the tie downs on Amazon.

Looks great, I just got my hybrid and am trying to decide whether to go with this liner or a spray in liner.

Did you have trouble with the cubbies? I cut the hole based on the stencil on the back. Looks like you have to cut it all the way to the zipper. Ran out of daylight, I'll tackle it tomorrow.

Looks really good. Wish this was an option to choose from when getting the Maverick. Spray-in liner is too rough and scratches what I need to haul in the bed. Thinking about getting this to cover the spray-in liner.

I use these stencils as a guide they were pretty close. I actually cut the zipper bit off on the driver side but on the passenger side I kept it. I just cut it right next to the stitching for the zipper and then tucked it underneath the cubby. I should have done that for the driver side but I didn't realize that was possible at the time.

Normally I get a spray in bed liner but I'm super glad I got the bed rug instead. I drive for uber/lyft and it is so nice to just put luggage or groceries or whatever back there and not have to worry about it getting scratched or sliding around.

You can totally put this in over a spray in bed liner as well. It's a little different kit that comes with some packets that helps the velcro stick to the bed liner.

I love this liner but after thinking about the fish hooks and other things that would stick in it, I think I'm going to with the drop in Ford liner.
Nice job on it.

I installed a 12 volt plug today on the driver side. I use the factory block off plate to mount the 12 volt plug too. I used the Dremel tool to smooth out and modify the back of the block off plate. I used a step bit to drill out the hole. I also had to sand down the nut that tightens it down because it wouldn't quite fit in the factory square hole. I intentionally installed the 12 volt plug upside down because of the top was square where the springs connect and look like it would trap dirt and water whereas the bottom is rounded.

It all fits perfectly now and the factory block off plate clips into place like it should. At first it didn't power up but I went and turned the key on to accessory and now it seems like the computer knows it's there and it stays on even with the key out of the truck and the door is locked.

Only time will tell if it times out like the interior 12 volt plug does.
