Take a look at the detailed pictures from the Chicago show. There is a picture with the rear seat backrest forward. Looks like the inverter is installed on driver side.

It should be easy to wire your own set up and get a higher quality inverter with extra outlets as a diy.

Keep in mind, as discussed earlier, the current 400W (AC output) inverter probably is already DC-input fused at 30-40 amps, if you are thinking something in the 1500-2000W (AC output) range, now you're talking battery cable direct wired to the battery, most likely best installed under the hood (on the 2.0 non-hybrid model)

Thanks for the valuable info and advice. I have an extra Renogy 700w inverter with 2 additional outlets due to powering my teardrop with a Jackery now to save some space and weight. I am hoping it fits behind the back and will give me some flexibility and options for my Dometic fridge etc.

That will be 60+ amps. Ensure you use a large wire and keep it close to the battery. 12v will have quite a bit of voltage drop if you don’t oversize the wiring.
