Bed liner, bed lights and tonneau cover install

What’s up everybody! Just installed the modular bedliner, Autosaver88 hard trifold tonneau cover ($400 on Amazon!) and some Nilight LED strips for bed lights on my 2024 carbonized gray XLT hybrid. All pretty easy and budget is right! Still have a long way to go on the build! I don’t know how well you can see the lights but they’re just installed under the bed rails and the switch is right on the 12v cover.

@Casey Williams all the Nilight LED strips I've seen are 60 inches. The bed is only 52 inches. How did you route the lights with the extra length? Looking at these myself. Just curious.

There are a couple of different way. Most of these light strips are trimmable. Even the ones in silicone tubes have an end cap that can be popped off and reinserted after shortening.

If for whatever reason you can't shorten your tape, the opening at the tail end of the bed rail leads to a pocket behind the tail lights. Don't wire through the rubber plug; there's already an unsealed passthrough into the body from the end of the channel. Most of the 60" tape installs that I've seen just stuff six inches of lit tape into that cavity and it doesn't affect the installation.
