Bak Revolver X4s Damage or Defect?

Is anyone else's revolver like this. It's hard to get a good picture of it but 90% of the slats have a puncture at the under side grips.

Looks like the rubber piece is slid on the channel and then the channel is crimped to keep it from sliding off.

I love my gator FX3 hard trifold, probably made in China as well, but it was $720 last year.

Curious if there are any decent hard trifolds that are significantly cheaper.

You might be right I will check that out but it's weird because not all of them have it and they are not very consistent. Some of them do look like straight line crimps but then some of them look like punctures with something pointed.

Bak quality has gone down the gutter. couple years ago they sent (2) bad covers and they had the balls to ask if I wanted a 3rd! Each time I had to prove it didn't fit on my F150 with pictures of the measurements, then take pictures to prove I destroyed it.. then they sent another. These pics are the last one, told them to refund me and I'm done with them for life.
Was a complete waste of my time
