The trail terrain tires look good but have a nice thread and not too loud either.

In many cases mud turns tires to slicks unless you’re running Chevron’s. I’m climbing my steep loose gravel roads with no problems on my stock Michelin Primacy’s.
I flip through the to me mostly useless drive modes to slippery, the only one I get anything out of, It gives me equal power to each wheel.
You should see it when I brain fart and break a tire loose.
It’s like the other three are playing grab ass trying to get that tires power.
When one tires power meter shows a sudden ramp up due to traction loss it drops almost instantly to nothing as the other three dig in and pull/push.
I think that’s pretty dang cool.
My FX4 Mav has the stock Pirelli Scorpions on it and they work just fine on the sand at Padre Island. I’ve driven it for miles along the beach in all kinds of sand without a problem. They are an “all season” tire supposedly but I would just call them typical highway tread. They are quiet enough on the highway, unless I am running on grooved pavement and then I just turn the volume of the Bluegrass up a notch or two. Bill Monroe’s voice can over power most any road noise.

Everyone has different preferences, but if you want to keep your MPGs up and road noise down and you do mostly road driving, you can stick with the standard all season tires and carry a set of chains for potential mud excursions, it will outperform pretty much every tire you could buy for a Maverick off road. It's a little work to fit when needed, and you have to run "low and slow" when chained up, but it will be a literal mountain goat of a machine.
