Audio Lag with bluetooth

Has anyone been having issues with Bluetooth and an audio lag? Since I got my Maverick any time I use the bluetooth connected to my phone I have a 1 second lag from when i hit "play" to when the music starts. Same when I change the track, another 1 second lag. I am not sure if this issue occurs with CarPlay because that is a whole other mess I cant deal with, it disconnects and reconnects constantly so I gave up using CarPlay. My software is currently UTD.

I have the same concern--carplay constantly connects and disconnects it is aggravating switching back and forth . cannot pinpoint the concern--any suggestions?

This system is horrible. I rent a lot of cars and sadly the connectivity pure crap. First phone call never works. Why do i have a inductive charger if i can’t carplay wireless. Let me know what the solution is please.
