I wish I could remember where I got that graphic, it was a very high quality and easy to apply. Just be very careful as there are a lot of small fine edges that are easy to tear. I remember I got the tailgate graphic on Etsy, be careful if you order there though, and give them the width you want it to be. The picture of the graphic was on a maverick tailgate but the one I received was 6" wider. I requested a refund but they said there was nothing wrong and they make them larger so they can be cut to size. After some arguing they agreed to remake it to the dimension I provided. It does match the side graphic fairly well.

I’ve contemplated a graphics wrap of some sort. I just can’t come up with a concept.

Considering it's a Maverick, a equine related motif might be a good one, and is likely an easier graphic to find than a James Garner...

The word "maverick" is related to cows because it originated from Samuel Maverick, a 19th-century Texas rancher who refused to brand his cattle. Consequently, any unbranded calf or steer found wandering on the open range came to be called a "maverick".

Wild horses are often referred to as Mustangs but because they are descended from once-domesticated animals, they are actually feral horses.

Although the term "maverick" originally was termed to apply to cattle that were not branded, if you were interested in adding information rather than your poorly researched opinion, you'd find it also describes independent or rebellious animals.

In ranching, the maverick term currently applies to unbranded animals of any species, including HORSES that are unbranded or have escaped, often living freely in the wild, as well as Legends of the West such as James Garner.

I doubt Tom Cruise was attempting to portray an unbranded cow in Top Gun.
Maybe you should attempt to correct the studio that produced the film.
I'm sure they would be impressed with your knowledge.

The term also describes a person who shows independence of thought and action, especially by refusing to adhere to the policies of a group to which he or she belongs.

This is the more likely intent of Ford than your bovine only assertion, although nice try at trolling.
Try to live with not being right all the time. This is a good test case.

I saw a nice black stripe near the bottom of the doors this weekend on a white Mav. I liked it! Thought it looked sharp and different. Im kind of a fan of retro things, so I dont see any issues going with some cool graphics to fit your style/personality.

I agree with you, I added a lot of "stuff" to make my Maverick mine. I even painted the brake calipers blue for "hybrid". Have fun with your new toy.

I’m the original poster, and at long last, tomorrow I will be having graphics added to my Baby Blue. I’ve added a Revolver tonneau cover, a WeatherTech bug shield, and a few more subtle visual effects. I‘ve spent enough on all this stuff that I designated my vehicle a “Limited” model with badging to that effect. In the next few days I’ll post some pics of the progress. I almost said finished product, but I don’t think that’s anywhere on the horizon. Thanks to all for your feedback.
