Have fault code b0050-13. How soon should something like this take to fix?

Solve/ diagnose? No. Actually repair if parts are needed? Who knows. We live in a crazy world. In theory it could be as simple as a loose connection. This all stems from the "restraint control module". If they have to replace that once again, who knows how fast. I would get it to the dealer for diagnostics since it is a life safety related problem. Not like some emissions leak where the only victim is the ozone layer.would this kind of problem take two weeks to solve? The airbag light stays on.
That's concerning....unless they have been trying all the common solutions and have run out of ideas.Dealership has had it for two weeks. Dealership called ford support and got no solution for a fix. So I’m just really confused on what they’re doing.
how long did it take to come to that conclusion? Been two weeks and no solution from dealership or ford support team yet?Not sure exactly what you are asking, but that code is for the driver seatbelt buckle sensor open circuit detected. There is a short(no pun intended) simple pinpoint test for that code that will most likely lead your dealership service technician to ordering/replacing your seatbelt buckle. This is a covered under the 5 year/ 60,000 mile safety restraint warranty coverage if you happen to be out of the 3 year/ 36000 "bumper to bumper" warranty. I had the same code last week on a 2022 Ford Escape and parts were readily available( next day from our regional warehouse), I would guess that the Maverick and the Escape use the same buckle.
It's a simple 2 wire switch in the buckle, very easy pinpoint test of the system that will lead to the concern. I messaged you with more detail. I would be interested in finding out if they have escalated your concern to our technical hotline which should have mandated the regional Field Service Engineer to visit the dealership and help them figure it out.how long did it take to come to that conclusion? Been two weeks and no solution from dealership or ford support team yet?
Nope took them 3 week. This happened on mine at 1000 miles. They ended up replacing the seat belt buckle, just like a few others said. It was covered by warranty, took about 30 minutes.
