Fuel gauge indicator not accurate

On a 2025. Second post about this indicator which is a concern. One person sent a photo showing multiple lines. I have 1 line at top. I refilled after delivery and have since put on 100 miles with no movement of indicator line. And the number below indicator line continues to go up instead of down. Showing 485 to E. If the top indicator line doesn't move I guess I'll need to carry 5 gallons of gas in case I run out.

When it is in electric mode it does not burn gas, and since it is still pretty new the computer is still learning what your base MPG is. As you put more miles on it, it will get your distance to E more accurate. Just sit back and leave the calculations to the Maverick. I love watching my little truck make gas as I drive it sine mine is also new, it is like a game sometimes. Just relax and it will get better at the estimates over time.

Since your instrument cluster is quite different than all past models, some pics might help 'splain what you're talking about.

Make sure you have that gas can secured adequately.
