Are bedside quarter panels made from metal or plastic?

Since Mavericks are so rare I did not have a chance to see one prior to ordering. One question I have is, are the bedside panels metal or plastic? I'm assuming metal based on how the parts manual shows them but you never know.

Forget if it’s stamped steel with an aluminum truck frame or vice- verse. But it’s got strange connectors hidden behind plastic trim tail lights and door pillars .

The only aluminum on the body is the hood. At least that’s what I’ve found.

Like others have said, they're metal. It's mostly a bolt on part except for 1 spot weld near the tail lamp area on each side.
