Anything that drives similar to a Maverick/ Ordering for the Summer

Hey,

I'm in Western PA, interested in a Maverick before I buy I wanted to test drive one but over the past couple days and calling around that seems like such a long shot. Is there any SUVs/ Trucks that Ford has now that's drives similar to a Maverick? I was thinking a Bronco Sport but wasn't sure.

Also, every dealer I've spoke to said they are not taking any orders for 2022s but they expect 2023 orders sometime over the summer. Is that true?

Orders for 2023 Mavericks slated to open mod-August, production of '23s to commence late October.

All these time frames not yet set in stone and subject to change.

How do you feel about the Ford Escape?

If I could have gotten a decent price on a plug in hybrid Titanium (with federal rebate) i might have considered it. Or Rav4 Prime. But as I looked for anything like that all the prices were far above the Maverick.

I’d have to look into them but everything I look at keeps leading me back to the Maverick
