$500 Rebate Reward from Ford for Farm Bureau members — Only $20 for anyone to join

Just an update, got signed up on the benefits page for the IL Farm bureau, and have generated a $500 certificate!

Has one small problem signing up, I had my member number from the email they sent when I signed up, but needed to put the 001 before it when registering.

Apologies if I’m reposting this, but I don’t remember where I saw the info. If you’re like me, you are reading way too much content to remember who said what and where.

Anyway, I selected Cook County, since Chicago is the only city that I’m familiar with. The code for me was ‘16-ACCOUNT#’ which I got from the email receipt they sent me.

The rest of the information was my regular mailing address.

I hope that makes sense…

I'm seeing similar for Oregon, but my sales guy says no dice. I might need to talk to the sales manager.

Price protection was also a point of confusion for the sales guy, sales manager told me not to worry about it, they'll charge me the price protected amount when the vehicle comes in (he left me a vm saying as much, too). We'll see how that shakes out next month.

If your Farm Bureau information matches your info Ford has on your order then I believe it will automatically show up in the Vincent system. When I took delivery the dealership already knew about my Farm Bureau discount without me mentioning it prior.

Although if you're using financing rate protection from your 2021 order date you may also need to generate a 2021 rebate certificate instead of '22. Select that you purchased the vehicle already and use your order date/join date which should generate a cert for the old program.

I may be 100% incorrect but check the fine print.

Why would a manufacturer who had to stop orders due to the inability to deliver trucks offer a discount on a vehicle which is sold out?

The discount has been in effect for over a year. It works! Ford acknowledge mine after I entered the certificate number online. It;s good until the end of 2022 and could be extended. For $20 the risk is low and reward high. My advice is Go for it!

That said even if you ordered last year, joined this year, and get order-date financing you might still be able to get the Farm Bureau rebate just not at delivery and requiring a bit of legwork on the dealership's part. @Gullzway ended up receiving a $500 check from Ford.

No. My dealer had me sign forms for the 0% Financing for 36 months And the Farm Bureau $500 Rebate, and said Ford would send the $500 check. My salesman even mentioned he hadn't seen 2 rebates on a new vehicle before. I ordered July 14th and bought the truck March 30th.

Called last week and was told Ford is denying the Farm Bureau rebate as it is not compatible with the 0% Financing from last year? I talked to the GM who said he would call the Ford Rep. I haven't heard back. I plan on telling them that they need to write the $500 check if Ford won't as it was part of the Deal I signed for the Truck. Not getting my hopes up, but will follow up.

Well, I got the $500 check from Ford today for the Farm Bureau Incentive. Nice Surprise as I assumed I wouldn't since I wasn't a member last year.

I'm giving it a shot. Worst case, I'm out $20. I wasted way more than $20 in the last week, this won't kill me. I signed up last night, ordered in November, and will take delivery in early August (or very, very late July - but with my Farm Bureau signup date, not before 7/30 lol).

Every state likely does. Looks like Florida charges $47 for theirs. Here in NY membership was $100. Illinois just has the advantage of being one of the cheapest for the same primary benefit.

I joined WA for $20 because OR was ~$140, and I have addresses in both states.

Ok that's what I thought. Might as well give it a try. I'm still waiting since a year ago for my truck so might as well give this a try for extra discount
