I have been keeping an eye on the United Road trackers just like most of us have and I am Just trying to see if anyone has their shipping at a stand still in Delaware?

This morning I saw my dealer got another delivery and once again my Mav was not on it…
So the Ford tracker was actually up and I got another updated ETA to my dealer of 2/13/22! Grrr!!

My truck shipped 11/27/21 and had original ETA of 12/20/21… and it’s not subject to any recalls either. I don’t know what the hold up is. It has been sitting in Wilmington for over a month now.

Since my truck shipped my dealer had 42 vehicles delivered and not a one was from the Wilmington Delaware location. So I know it’s not about allocations for my dealer or the 110 mile distance from the rail yard or the trucker shortage since my dealer has been getting deliveries this whole time.

As of this morning the United Road system shows my dealer has 13 vehicles sitting at the Wilmington rail yard.

I have called the Ford 800# and just get lip service and I know my dealer really can’t do anything either. So what gives with all these Pending Pick Ups at one location?

Just trying to see how many of us Mid Atlantic orders have hit this road block so we can keep one another posted of any updates.

Hello Big Bob,

I saw from your other posts that yours arrived at the dealership on 2/2, just 1 day after posting this. Congrats! Did it ever show up on the United Road system before it was delivered? I have read from others that they were not able to see their vehicle at all on the tracking and then is just showed up at the Dealership one day.

I know this post is almost 2 months old, but my Maverick is now in Wilmington Delaware. It arrived yesterday and the status updated to "PCO in port" on the Norfolk Southern call in line. I am guessing means they offloaded it today at 2:15 am. Mine is not quite stuck yet like yours was, but I was just wondering if yours ever showed up as "Active", "Pending Pickup", or In-Route" on the Union Road/OVISS tracking website? I see another Maverick for my dealership on there, but mine is still not showing. When I run a search for my VIN, it comes up as "Inactive" and I am not sure if this is an issue or not.

Thanks,

Good evening James,

Mine was stuck in Delaware forever! I actually called United Road and complained that they were picking up every truck that came to Twin Oaks, PA (since I had been watching them all in the tracker) and not any from Delaware.

That night I got emailed from UA with the load info that my Mav was picked up and they delivered the rest of my dealers 13 vehicles from Delaware on 2/2 as well.

Sorry to go on and on but the answer to your question is yes. My Mav was in their OVISS system and updated every step of the way. The longest step was week after week of Inactive…

It was so long of a wait I started searching the Ford Inventory and was watching other dealerships in the tracker and alot of them were stuck in Delaware and Inactive too.

I am sorry to hear that your vin isn’t showing up! Fingers crossed that it’s a hick up in their system.

Note: In the time I took to type this post I could have driven to you and told you in person… LOL I am in Carlisle and see you are in Dillsburg. Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to help you with.

My truck is on a train, keeps making circles in PA. Conway and Altoona, is the train lost? It needs to go to Delaware (NS) for the final ride home.

Mine was actually bouncing around in Delaware. I found out it was “partially placed” which means they tried to drop it off at the ramp but nobody was there to take it. Then today it was “actually placed” and is now waiting further transport. Still showing as inactive on the OVISS system.

By calling the Norfolk Southern tracking line. You know how they say like “departed flat car” or “arrived” the stauts is now “actual placement of car”. I looked that up on Google and that means it was offloaded at the Ford Ramp.

As someone that works in the rail industry, this happens sometimes. There's a lot of stupidity and things that can't be explained which makes for a frustrating work environment. Sorry to hear that your truck is taking some detours, hopefully it gets there soon. On a side note that line between Conway and Altoona is one of my favorites.

Thanks @Davis Appears my truck is in now in Ohio. So it's indeed going backwards.
Since you're in the business, I hope my truck appreciates the tour.
