Any experience with Thule Wingbar Edge or Evo on a 2023? annoying whistle between about 20-30mph

I have a 2023 XL Hybrid(as of last week). Put a Thule Wingbar EVO on exactly as recommended and it had an annoying whistle between about 20-30mph. I called Thule, tried a few things and eventually they just said, "things happens with some vehicles and their aerodynamics".

Is it worth trying the Wingbar Edge? Anybody have this on a 2023 without problems?

I need something for longer surfboards and I already have a Softopper over the bed.

Had the same problem - really a shame... That said, I took some black paracord and wrapped it around the bar (maybe 5 times around over the length of each bar, so not a ton) and it helped a lot.

That's odd. I have the Wingbar Evo on my XLT Tremor and have not heard anything I would characterize as "whistling" from 20-60+ mph.

I have the moonroof as well, and like all crossbars, there is a little more general wind rushing noise in the roof area especially at highway speed, but it is not high-pitched or annoying.

Edit: It was pretty quiet for me with just crossbars, but as soon as I added a Snowpack L ski rack, I could hear the faint whistle at around 20-30 mph.

I appreciate the responses. I am going to give the Edge a try. Hopefully coming in tomorrow. I will update here to give a report after install.
