I have not seen anyone with this problem that I have had trying to get my Maverick.

I had a confirmed order with Ford and have received several emails about the 2022 Maverick order. I placed my rollover order for my 2022 Maverick on Monday 9/19/22. I did not receive an email from Ford confirming the rollover order. I called Ford and my dealer on a regular basis. When I called Ford the person gave me my private offer number which I shared with my dealer. I still did not receive an email from Ford. After more calls to the dealer, I had a young man assure me that my order was in for a 2023 Maverick. I called Ford and they could not see a 2023 order, just my 2022 order under the sales order number that my dealer gave me, but the lady at Ford assured me that my order was rolled over to a 2023 because I had a private offer. A week ago, I received an email from my dealer saying that they do not know what happened as my order was never accepted by Ford, It was on their system as an order but it was not sent through for an unknown reason. I was one of 3 that had this problem. The dealer escalated this problem to their contacts at Ford without any resolution. I called Ford again and another lady I spoke to told me that just because I had a private offer number from Ford, it did not mean anything as she had seen some people in the system get the offer without a 2023 rollover order. This lady also told me that there is nothing that I can do because the order banks are closed.

The bottom line is that I do not have a rollover order for a 2023 Maverick even though I e-signed the dealers documents that I was sent and have a confirmed 20222 order. I have requested that the dealer let me know if they can find a 2023 that someone does not take. I also have been assured that I am on the list to get a 2024 Maverick if they cannot find a 2023.

Why didn't Ford just roll over the confirmed orders to 2023 Mavericks?

This is a messed up situation that Ford should study to improve their systems.

there's plenty of discussions in these forums already about how Ford chose to do it the way they did. No need to start another thread on it. Search is your friend.
