My Maverick's PCM/BCE modules just populated today. Posting this so those of you still waiting will have some recent production line stats to guess your dates. I know I've read many posts from others to attempt to guess my dates, so I'm passing it forward.
  • Alto Blue EcoBoost, Lariat Lux package, AWD, 4K tow package, rubber floor mats
  • 10/25/2021 order date, received order confirmed email on return home from dealer same day
  • 12/2/2021: scheduled for production week of 1/31/2022
  • 1/6/2022: received email that was now scheduled for week of 1/24/2022
  • 1/20/2022: window sticker available with blend date of 1/19/2022; bottom date of 1/20/2022
  • 1/27/2022: window sticker bottom date changed to 1/27/2022
  • 1/28/2022, the site (https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt) shows my modules populated
  • no emails yet, tracker still shows "in production"
I'm hoping it will be a nice Valentine's day gift from me, to me.

I will update when I get "built" notification, shipping info, etc.

Update as of 1/29/2022: tracker now shows "in production" date of 1/28/2022 and the estimated delivery date changed from "TBD" to 2/20/2022. I'm guessing it's now sent over for spray in bedliner and "gas tank drilling".:) No change to the window sticker.

Update as of 1/30/2022 9:00 AM: The estimated delivery date changed to 2/18/2022. No changes to tracker or window sticker.

Update as of 1/30/2022 3:04 PM: Received the "built" email stating estimated delivery between February 12 and 18. Tracker site still shows "in production" and estimated delivery date went back to 2/20/2022. No changes to window sticker.

Update as of 1/31/2022 1:20 PM: The tracker changed to show the built date of 1/30/2022, and the estimated delivery date changed to 2/18/2022. No changes to the window sticker.

2/4/2022: Window sticker bottom date changed to 2/3/2022. No other changes to tracker. Asked dealer to provide vehicle visibility report, they did and no mention of microchip hold. Fingers crossed.

2/7/2022: Dealer called and said my Maverick arrived in the Mesquite, TX railyard today. They are going to try to send a driver to go get it if they can. If it is already dispatched to a trucking company, might take 4-5 days. Ford tracker still shows it as "built"; never received a "shipped" email.

2/12/2022: My Maverick is still sitting on the railcar. Dealer has called the railyard folks every day attempting to send a driver to go pick it up. Maybe soon!

2/17/2022: Still waiting. Tracker updated the estimated delivery date to 3/23/2022. Still shows built and awaiting shipment. This is either a glitch in the tracking system or some sort of hold due to chips or something. Window sticker date changed to 2/16/2022, or has updated every week on Thursdays. Received email stating delivery date changed to 3/23/2022,
Clicked on tracker link and it’s back to 2/18/2022. Hopefully it’s just a system glitch and it means the dealer is getting the Maverick off transporter.

2/18/2022: Still waiting. Emailed the dealership about the delivery date change. The are trying the best they can and are calling Ford for answers. I called the Ford Marketing 800 number and asked them about the situation. They said my Maverick was built on 2/8/2022 (different than the above info) and the 3/23/2022 delivery date was the correct date. I asked for explanations about the 2/18 vs 3/23 delivery dates.

2/23/2022: Just received the "shipped" email and the tracker has also been updated. Estimated delivery date remains at 3/23/2022. I'm hoping that changes soon. No changes to the window sticker. We shall soon find out if it is really sitting in the Mesquite railyard, or just shipped from Hermosillo.

2/27/2022: I emailed my dealer on Friday 2/25 to get a snippet from the Vehicle Visibility Report, and received it. It stated the railcar my Maverick is supposedly on left Hermosillo on 2/22. On Friday and Saturday, I called all three of the railroad tracking systems and got a lot of useless information. One of them said the railcar was in Birmingham, AL on June 16. Another said it was in Mira Loma, CA on 2/23 (I originally dismissed that but now it may be plausible), and the other said it was empty in "Industry". I called again today and one of the trackers says it will arrive at the destination on 3/8, and the other says it is in Nogales, AZ as of yesterday. Perhaps it did go to Mira Loma and drop off a few cars for the west coast, and then is now heading toward Dallas. If that is true, it begs the question why the dealer thought my Maverick was at the Mesquite (Dallas area) railyard on 2/7.

I have 2 theories that time will tell which one may be true:

1. It really did arrive in Dallas on 2/7 and the railcar is now making its way back to Hermosillo for another load. (as of 3/2/2022 this theory has likely been disproven)

2. The dealer confused my Maverick with another and the 2/22 ship date the Ford tracker shows is correct and it is heading toward Dallas and will get here around 3/8. This means my Maverick probably did get caught up in the chip shortage drama after it was "built" on 1/30.

3/2/2022: So, it seems like the railcar that supposedly has my Maverick on it is indeed rolling toward Dallas. The Union Pacific tracking system says it was in El Paso, TX yesterday evening at 5:01 PM and is currently at Sierra Blanca, TX with an estimated arrival at the destination of March 7.

So, now that I have probably located my Maverick, the question again arises of why my dealer called me on 2/7/2022 and informed me my Maverick had arrived in the Mesquite, TX railyard. I don't know. Most likely the dealer confused my order/VIN with another one. I'm not going to dwell on that, and hope that I am getting my Maverick some time next week.

3/3/2022: The railcar that hopefully has my Maverick on it arrived in Big Springs, TX

3/4/2022: The railcar that hopefully has my Maverick on it left Clyde, TX (east of Abilene, TX) this morning at 5:01 AM, with the estimated arrival at "industry" (hopefully the Mesquite Railyard) of 3/8 7:59 AM. The railcar sat in Big Springs, TX for over 24 hours; probably due to loading/unloading, crew rest time, and/or awaiting an eastbound slot through the railroad traffic control. The window sticker bottom date updated to today's date just like it does every Thursday or Friday.

3/5/2022:The railcar arrived at the Ft. Worth Rail yard at 5:31 PM.

3/8/2022: The railcar left Ft. Worth 1:53 AM today. It also departed Dallas at 6:46 PM (I believe this is the Dallas Intermodal Terminal in Hutchins) which is about 20 miles from the Mesquite Railyard where new cars arrive in Dallas. Hopefully I’m getting my Maverick by the weekend.

3/9/2022: The railcar indeed arrived at the Mesquite Railyard last night at 11:59. Hopefully I'm driving my Maverick by the weekend.

3/10/2022: The dealer confirmed on the vehicle visibility report that my Maverick arrived at the Mesquite rail yard today.

3/11/2022: My Maverick finally arrived and I picked it up this afternoon.

3/13/2022: I washed and applied Meguair's Hybrid Ceramic Wax yesterday. There was a lot of fine Sonoran desert dust all over the vehicle form riding the rails for over a month.
