I got a notification on my phone that Android Auto needed to be updated or I would lose this function. I clicked on the update in the App store from Google LLC. After the update my phone won't link up by Bluetooth and the info screen on the truck says that I have to connect via USB port to us the app. Anyone else have this happen? As far as I can tell the only change is that Bluetooth no longer works. The app was a power hog and ate my battery pretty good, on 2 hour rides. I normally use 20-30% of my battery on an average day. After Android Auto Blue tooth on a 2 hour ride I'd be down to 40 or 50%.

Got same versions on truck and phone?
I need to check mine. Had truck 3 years and bluetooth still drops so don't use it. New Bluetooth is more rock solid from what I've heard.
Need good Wi-Fi to update truck, I'm told.

Delete the connection between phone and truck.
Remove app cache and app data and reboot the phone.
Also reboot the truck Infotainment system. Easy to do on pre-25 models. I have no idea how to do it on yours.

Next, re-pair the phone to the truck.
